2 things to say about this:
*Products like this make me realize why I never had a particularly huge case of Turtle Power (TM) in the late 80's.

*Who actually uses the spelling "Ut-oh?"

I cannot get to this at work but I always have been a huge fan of TMNT, so I will check this out at home.

Fantastic.

I also enjoyed:

"Time to take your lumps, chumps!"

and

"Time to let one fly, brother...!"

*BREET* *SHPLAT*

EDIT: Oh wow.

Is there some kind of story point explaining why they look like they have Downs?

If this thread was in the Pit of Flames I could see some real potential coming from this panel.

Edit: I guess it is in the pit...I just assumed otherwise when using the New Posts option.

I actually followed this initially when put online... And it mimicked the old cartoon's style before suddenly going for this stuff. I really don't know why the style changed, artist trying to do his own thing maybe?

The artist's name is Jim Lawson. He was one of the Mirage artists, supplying the art for many issues of the original series. I wonder if he got the job through doing the strip, or if he got the strip from being at Mirage? His style takes a little getting used to but I think it's a nice compromise between Eastman & Laird's original design and the more well-known animated series. From what I'm reading online, it looks like he's drawn more TMNT comics than any other artist.

His style is ass. That was my point. It's terrible looking. It looks like something I could outdo. It's bad.

In all fairness, he was responding to this, guys. Mikey squinting with roaches all over him. Hence, cockroach bukkake.
