I read the first volume on Inter-library loan after Parish suggested in on the main page, and then immediately bought all the current volumes off Amazon. I think it's an awesome series. I was especially blown away by the first volume because I had no idea what the premise was until it manifested itself in the explosive final pages. So, my suggestion if you've never heard of this series is to pick it up without reading anything about it. Being surprised is awesome. Chances are, if you're on this board, you'd probably like Scott Pilgrim.

And if not, then get the hell off this board.

Scott Pilgrim is awesome. We've been over this before, but it bears repeating.

He's from my hometown so I should really get off my ass and do something about not having read his stuff.

I hear Pilgrim fans come here just to see Honest Ed's.

I'd say something about them making "PILGRIMages" there but I don't want to be savagely e-beaten

Oh, uh, and yeah, Scott Pilgrim's rad. Completely deserving of all the praise it gets. Volume 4 is supposed to be out this fall sometime and I'm already all giddy.

I always forget when I read books that many of the locations within are real. I guess to be a good author you first have to live in an interesting place.

Does Amazon ship abroad?

Scott Pilgrim is Canada's greatest export, narrowly beating out Rush for the #1 spot.

Seriously, it can't be said enough. It truly deserves every bit of praise it gets.

I just found Volume 1 in a book store a few days ago. I'm saving it for the flight to California.

They are short reads. You will be kicking yourself for only bringing one.

It was the only one I could find! But it's okay, because I also got Galapagos, a Vonnegut book I haven't read yet.

I picked up Scott Pilgrim Vol. 1 after reading the first thread in this post, and I wasn't disappointed. As much as I like to support my local comic shop back at school, I might have to have the other two volumes shipped to me from Amazon.... maybe even Amazon.ca.
