View Full Version : Finishing Time: 2011 Projects and Goals

I suppose it's not too late to start one of these threads. I finished my first game last year and I'm shooting to make 2 more this year. Assuming work doesn't continue to encroach on my gaming/programming time, I should be able to finish the first one by June and get the lion's share of the second one done by December. I'll try to post WIPs and demos here as the projects come along.

Also, I need to come up with some sort of schedule for all this. Baw, I'll mess with that later.

I want to make a book.

I want to complete a few short stories.

And learn a new skill. Probably an instrument, programming language or a regular language.

Finish my Senior Project costume.
Finish my Rotoball project.
Finish my 30 second animation practice.

All before June!

Well, hey; it worked for the Completed Games Tab, let's do it here as well!

1) Let's Play all three Spyro games
2) start my webcomic and keep it running, for chrissake
3) start a site for critiquing media, review six things for it

I'll be buying webspace for both of the last two points tomorrow. And I now have drawing software that doesn't blow, giving me a marked advantage over the previous two years.

I need to finish rewriting/typing both of completed novel rough drafts. Right now they are held in several notebooks and are damn near illegible even to me. Plus they are not that good anyway. But a rewrite could fix that.

Also I want to finish writing at least one story, regardless of length. I did not manage to do that last year, merely ending with with a bunch of aborted ideas.
