Between Peanut and I, there are:

two laptops,
two smartphones,
two kindles,
an iPod,
an iPad,
three DSes, and
a PSP

kicking around the house.

And the crazy thing is, I don't really consider any of these items to be redundant or superfluous in any way.

What's the gadget inventory at your house?

How ostentatious!

Brickroad's original post seems to indicate only devices that I semi-frequently use and can take out of the house, so I'll just list those rather than home consoles and such.

-Samsung Galaxy 551 smartphone
-Cowon J3 personal media player
-3DS
-PSP go
-GP2X Wiz
-Gameboy Micro

I also have an iPod Touch with a worn out headphone jack that I sometimes use for wifi on the go, an original GBA, and a pair of DS lites for when the 3DS won't cut it.

Sure, if you want. I didn't count all my consoles and stuff, nor did I count gadgets that don't actually get used on a near-daily basis (we have lots of mp3 players and flash drives and digital cameras and things), but YMMV.

Ever since iphones became a thing, I've seemingly transformed from technophile to luddite. Everyone around me has pockets full of lithium-powered objects and I generally just have some index cards and a pencil.

Ignoring gaming, my gadget lineup consists of:

-First Gen iPod Touch
-iPhone
-iPad
-Custom Windows Desktop PC (Okay, this is mostly for gaming)
-MacBook Pro
-Kindle

Of these, the only one that seems unnecessary is the iPad. Everything else is necessary to fill at least one need, but I haven't found any real reason to justify having an iPad, personally.

-VTech LS6245, the sexiest (http://i.imgur.com/9nAYU.jpg) cordless phone ever built. Often used as a Bluetooth handset fro the smartphone.

...And a few more things that I probably should count for portable gadgetry:

-Sennheiser HD435 headphones
-somewhat dated Fujifilm digital camera

Gaming systems currently hooked up to a TV (3 separate TVs, not all on the same one) or otherwise available for use:
NES
SNES
N64
(2) Gamecubes with Gameboy Players
Wii
Genesis
32X
Sega CD
Dreamcast
PS1
(2) PS2s
PS3
Vectrex
Virtual Boy

Game systems currently packed away:
Atari
Intellivision
Odyssey 2 (I need to get a table or something for these and the CRT they'll be hooked up to)
Xbox (recently found at a Goodwill, no games yet)
Sega Saturn (needs to be modded because the prices for anything worth playing on it are ridiculous)
Extra NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, PS1, and PS2 (my wife and I both owned them before we met)
broken Virtual Boy

Handhelds:
Gameboy
(4) GBAs (for Four Swords goodness)
DS
DSi
3DS
PSP
Atari Lynx
Game Gear
Zelda Game and Watch
various Tiger Electronic games

Non-game-related gadgets in regular use:
Desktop PC
one semi-broken cell phone from before smartphones were a thing
my wife's slightly better cell phone

...I should probably join the modern world at some point, but I so rarely run into situations where I'm out of the house and badly want to access the internet that I can't justify buying an expensive phone and paying for its own internet service.

Non-stationary gadgety stuffs in my house:

I like this definition, so I'm going to borrow it. In our house, you will find:

2 iPod Touch(es)
1 iPod Nano (free trade up from the original model)
1 iPod Shuffle
2 GBA SP's (can you ever have enough?)
1 DS
1 DSi
1 PSP
1 pay-as-you-go cell phone
1 MacBook Pro (girlfriend's, about 4 years old)

The two Touch iPods get used all the time, mine is practically welded to my body. The Nano is used to play music for my son while he sleeps, and the Shuffle doesn't really get used for anything these days. None of my Nintendo handhelds have seen much action since I finished off the last of the good DS games last year, but I use my PSP occasionally to play PSX games with. Honestly, the only gadget that I would even notice if it disappeared is my iPod touch, which I use constantly.

Hmm

Portables:
2 iPads
2 iPhones
4 Macbook Pros (only 3 get used)
2 iPod nanos (one is employed as my watch, the other Wolfgal uses at the gym)
iPod classic (used in the car)
iPod 2nd gen (mainly kept as an oddity)
2 Wacom art tablets
GBA SP
2 vibrators (one wireless remore control, one standard)
Portable Clear iSpot 4G modem
Portable mini speaker system/iPod dock
Old Garmin GPS (we don't use since new car)
Wolfgal has some old digital snapshot camera she hasn't touched since she got her iPhone

Stationary:
PS3 (w/2 extra controllers & PSEye)
Wii (w/Classic Controller)
42" Sony HD flatscreen TV
19" Panasonic CRT TV (so old)
24" Apple LED Cinema Display (<3)
20" Samsung PC monitor (-_-)

About a dozen different external hard drives for backups, movie collections, etc.

Do kitchen gadgets count? Because we have an awesome Sodastream, and will be getting krazy madd l00t from the wedding.

I know the company that makes the iCade keeps a running list of games that support it. It works very well, for whatever that's worth. You can jailbreak an ipad to use MAME with it.
