Guys, I started a food blog (http://www.bakespite.net/), so I decided it would be rad to have a food forum, too.

Are you gonna move all our illustrious food threads over here too? I think that would be eco-friendly.

Oh yeah: Completed Diet Routine Tab thread! Yes!

Yeah, I'll bump them over whenever I come across them.

Holy poop, this looks like a real thing and not at all an early April Fool's gag. Awesome!

By the way, we're going to open BakeSpite to outside contributors at some point in the fairly near future.

That is something my wife would be interested in, she does it already at her own cooking blog (http://cookingcampus.wordpress.com), but might enjoy a larger readership

PS If any of you head over there and comment, BE NICE she's shy and afraid of the internet

She is right to be so.

One of my goals this year is to finally learn how to feed myself properly so this is a good thing.

Although I may miss my generic brand ravioli cold out of the can.

this is awesome.

Yesterday, to celebrate, i made a puff pastry tart with goat cheese, spinach pesto, caramelized onions and garlic, and roasted butternut squash. it was magical.

That sounds like the best thing.

hey, i have an idea-- A series of threads called "Let's Eat", where people take one ingredient and show you how to make something cool with it.

That's basically what Good Eats is so I vote yes.

I also agree! As long as we go Iron Chef-ish and vote for the best one at the end.

I'm excited about this! Hopefully I can pull myself together and contribute - I think my cooking knowledge is better than my video game knowledge, compared to the rest of Talking Time.

Yeah, same here. I've been cooking seriously for a lot longer than I've played videogames.

In fact, I pretty much think this is the best board here already on concept alone.

I would love to contribute, but my idea of cooking basically involves dumping a tonne of paprika into everything.

EVEN CEREAL.

Mister Parish, the capitalisation of this forum's title is inconsistent with the other "Talking about..." forums. This is likely to fretfully agonise me for months to come.

I keep clicking on this sub forum thinking it's the "Talking about everything" sub forum. This is driving me mad.

I do like food, though.
