Here's how this works, if you are new to this
1) We are given a topic, usually musical in nature, though someone is offering a different idea.
2) People are invited to submit songs or musical pieces or entries they like that fit the topic before a deadline (you may be told the limit of how many you may submit and it is not uncommon for that number to grow during this process)
3) The entries are randomized and pitted against each other where you must choose (usually) one of the two songs. Usually its two matches a day. Just pick the ones you like best from the two matches.
4) This goes on until there is only one entry left!

I hope I explained it clearly. But anyway, we aren't at that part yet. We are at the part where we must decide our topic and with that our host. You must choose between...

Mega MicroDome$ - @Bongo - We'll need help. Bongo will need four people to contribute a mini-dome. I'm in so we just need three more.
Tokusatsudome - @Purple - If you don't know the term, basically think Godzilla, Power Rangers and that kind of live action fun times.
Villainydome - @Johnny Unusual - This one is for villain songs. It will not include villain themes or songs about GENERAL villainy but more are sung by or are about specific villains and antagonists.

Will you be including the other two choices from this poll in that power-of-two number of topics? Also, I think the total number of topics should be 4 - I think that is the sweet spot when it comes to domes.

I think I mentioned this when I first nominated it, but the obvious issue with the Tokusatsu songs is I'm one of like 3 people on the forums into those shows, BUT, consider the ready availability of big youtube compilations of every Kamen Rider theme, or every Super Sentai theme, and there's plenty of good ones to nom off only a listen, and that's before the deep cuts or technicalities like the Power Rangers theme being on the table.

... and now I'm wondering what you're thinking of that you'd call tokusatsu but not live action. Like it's kinda part of the term, but I'd let Fuuto, PI or animated Godzilla or whatever in probably?

I have thought of one or two choices that are primarily animated Mecha shows.

Renowned subgenres of tokusatsu include kaiju such as the Godzilla and Gamera series; superhero such as the Kamen Rider and Metal Hero series; and mecha like Giant Robo and Super Robot Red Baron. Some tokusatsu television programs combine several of these subgenres, for example, the Ultraman and Super Sentai series.

Hmm... Not necessarily. Keep in mind, I'm willing to include songs that aren't from movies and such and if someone made a banger song about a villainous historical figure I'm not against it. I originally conceived it as "when the villain sings about themselves" but at the same time, I feel some people might find that too limiting or they can't think of more than two they like, so I want to have the opportunity to keep it open. But I do want it to be songs (note, I am definitely super down if someone wants to do villain themes or a mix of villain themes and songs down the line too. Frankly, a ton of the categories I come up with, I want three versions; songs, music, anything goes). But yeah, if there's an awesome song about Jack the Ripper or Burke and Hare, go for it. That said, modern villains might be kind of a bummer. Won't tell you not to, but just letting you know MY feels.

Same. Obviously I'll boost my own but I am really interested in all of them. I'm not a tokusatsu guy but 1) whenever I do these lists, I often give myself a system where I can seek out music I haven't heard before to add. It's less for me "Here are my favourites" and more "here are some interesting ones" (which is why I don't tend to "win") and 2) I know enough to have some cool ideas and also look forward to learning about them. As for Bongo's idea, he's been kicking it around for a while and I'm really interested to see how it turns out.

OK, so would that include homages to tokusatsu, such as music from the movies "Smoking Causes Coughing" or "PG - Psycho Goreman" or from video game homages to tokusatsu tropes (I can think of two video games where the heroes fight an evil Super Sentai-esque team of villains)?
