Yeah, I was skeptical at first, because I was picturing pretty much exactly what Joel showed as their rejected approach. But an entire series that's basically that issue of Deadpool where he goes back to an issue of 60's Spider-Man? Sign me up!

Yeah, it looks like a neat, novel approach. I'm down.

R.I.P V S Naipaul. A Bend in the River is one of the best books on the effects of imperialism I've ever read.

We are staying at a hotel and they have a stack of books available in the room and I haven't heard of any of them! Do any of you know these books/authors and have a recommendation? I've got a good amount of free time today and tomorrow so I think I could get through one of these:

Cotton by Christopher Wilson
Fima by Amos Oz
Night of Sorrows by Francis Sherwood
The Flower in the Skull by Kathleen Alcala

Apparently Matilda is getting a 30th anniversary edition, and Quentin Blake drew some images of adult Matilda. The astrophysicist one in the link above amuses me greatly.

As of the moment I can only find UK sellers so I'm hoping this comes to the US!
