Default I got a bunch of tamarinds, but

I got them too early. I guess I was excited to see them available, but these things are incredibly tart. Possibly the tartest flavor I have ever encountered. I can barely put this thing in my mouth. The intensity of this flavor makes it impossible to eat raw, as is my usual preference.

Anybody have any idea what I can do with these things?

Tamarinds aren't typically eaten raw, for the reason you described. Once you strain the pulp it becomes a great flavoring agent for a bunch of different dishes.
