So far my record for quickest death is just a hair under 100m - hit both boxes in the starting hallway and didn't jump at the end, and the pit was just wide enough to catch me. My longest run was around 3300m.

I love the music in this game so much.

It took me a few tries to realize that this sequence is randomly generated. I love the setting: an alien attack raging in the city as you run.

I had a pretty good run and they I missed jumping through the window and hit a wall. I wish the soundtrack was just sound effects with no music, a simple heartbeat or breathing sound might have worked better.

The key to going far in this game is to not get too fast, you want to slow yourself down with a box every now and then so you can react and make more precise jumps.

Just wait until you do make it through a window, then the next building is another window but on a lower level. That's the kind of thing a Canabalt nightmare is made of.

I love how there are giant robots looking for you in the background.

EDIT: 3495 is my record so far. I died as soon as I started thinking about my score. =(

Anyway, this:

is totally true. I found I had much more time to react to windows once I managed my speed by hitting boxes once in a while.

yeah, jumping (or not jumping) into a window is my downfall in this one.

4323m

This game is pretty neat! Admittedly, after about 10 minutes I think I've had as much as I'll ever want, but the aesthetics and concept are both really cool. Too bad it's such a pain to make it through those windows, though, that's about 10 times harder than anything else the game throws at you. I wonder if it ever ends?

Luck is a big factor. The random generation means sometimes you can go 2000m without seeing a window, or 100m.
