The Blues Brothers move onto round three (orange whips) and The Muppet Movie is bigger than humanly possible.

Match 33
This week we are pushing things as far as I can. First @Violentvixen is pushing Everybody to the Limit from Homestar Runner. The song is based on the strange e-mail sender name from the Strong Bad E-Mail "i love you". Then @Pombar shows How Far I'll Go to entertain you from Moana. Apparently in rewriting the song, Lin-Manuel Miranda "went method", locking himself in his childhood bedroom to remind himself the distance between his comfortable childhood and his fame.

Match 34
Then @WildcatJF is Putting on cheese on The Ritz crackers. Yummy. When they started to film the "Puttin' on the Ritz" scene, no one was sure what the creature should say. The first time out of the gate, however, Peter Boyle came up with a strangled version of "Puiinin on da reeez!" Against it is America! Man, that's quite an opponent, eh, @Issun ? The lyrics to "America" were substantially changed for the movie. There had been complaints that the Broadway version was too belittling to Puerto Ricans, in that the song mainly ridiculed Puerto Rico and Puerto Ricans. The movie lyrics emphasize the racism and discrimination that Puerto Ricans were subjected to in America.

Moana crosses the ocean to victory while West Side Story wins the rumble.

Match 35
Will @Pombar be Frozen in (first) place with Let It Go? This was actually the first Disney song to reach the top 10 of the Billboards since "Colors of the Wind" from Pocahontas. Meanwhile @Kirin is starring in the Rocky Horror Picture Show with Time Warp. Originally in the play this song came AFTER Sweet Transvestite but since the movie changed the position, it's been common for productions to do likewise. Richard O'Brien himself even changed the placement for a West End show in 1990.

Match 36

Oh, hey, @Kishi has even more The Rocky Horror Picture Show for you with Don't Dream It; Be It. Richard O'Brien actually took the title of the song from the back of a magazine. @Kirin is lost in the Labyrinth with Magic Dance. I'm sure you've heard this but the exchange at the beginning actually comes from a lesser known film from big name stars The Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer. Interestingly, that film is about a teenager crushing on an older man...

Let It Go, Magic Dance!

Match 37
First it's a puppet movie that have Steve Martin match up. First, @Purple can handle the tooth with Dentist! from Little Shop of Horrors. Trivia: Every song except "Da-Doo" is different on the soundtrack album. Every song except "Da-Doo" is different on the soundtrack album. Then the first thing to go on a @WildcatJF is his tongue with Rainbow Connection from the Muppet Movie. It took three Kermits to do the opening "Rainbow Connection" scene. One of the Kermits used in "The Rainbow Connection" was a mechanical; you can tell by the way it strums the banjo, and the colors of Kermit's "skin".

Match 38

And we end this round with a couple of heavy hitters. First @WildcatJF is just playing around with
I'm Just Ken from Barbie. The Oscar version of the number had 64 dancers, the highest number of dancers for an Oscar show. And we end things with @Pombar 's One Day More from Les Misérables. Les Miserables was originally a French language musical and would be translated into English 5 years later after it premiered.
