@Exposition Owl must Think about the Blues Brothers. Hey, did you know this was Aretha's film debut? But it wasn't her acting debut; that was on an episode of Room 222. @Kirin wants to know Can You Picture That? from the Muppet Movie. In front of the church in that scene is a reference to the running Hare Krishna gag throughout the movie.

Then @Pombar sets sail with How Far I'll Go from Moana. Auliʻi Cravalho actually made her acting debut with this film and she does a pretty great job with it. @Issun goes with America from West Side Story. The song was inspired by Leonard Bernstein telling Sondheim that during a vacation to Puerto Rico he found a wonderful dance rhythm called Huapango. Years after, though, Sondheim found among Bernstein's effects and unproduced ballet called Conch Town which had the tune, which convinced him that he was actually making the story up to reuse an old tune.

The quarterfinals are coming to a close. First, it's going to be a tough one! It's all kinds of magic with Let It Go from Frozen (via @Pombar ) vs. Magic Dance from Labyrinth (via @Kirin ) One is from the legendary David Bowie but never count out the WICKedly talented Adele Dazeem.

But if you thought that match was hard, let's see if a new hit can beat a true classic! It's The Rainbow Connection from the Muppet Movie (the last true muppet song standing. Sorry Bowie, those are technically "Henson Creatures". Not the same). And it is running head long into the song that SHOULD have won the Oscar, I'm Just Ken from Barbie.
